How to Book Your Trip
Half-day / Full Day
Email or phone to book ahead. You can download a gear list and medical / risk disclaimer form or we can send one as an attachment.
You can bring the form with you or send it by email. We will meet you at the starting point. See our tour pages for full details.
Please note: Tours can sometimes be rescheduled due to changes in weather but on most occasions an alternative venue is available.
Expeditions (Multi-Day)
We usually receive an email detailing your plans and itinerary (if you have one!) and you decide on which multi-day expedition you want to go on.
- You can download from our website or we email you a registration form (which contains our Terms and Conditions) for you to complete. You can email it to us and also list your food preferences for a catered trip.
- You can also complete the medical form - downloaded from the website or emailed to you and returned by post
- Download a personal equipment list to make sure you're prepared on the day
Payment
You make a deposit - usually 50% (see Terms and Conditions on the registration form)
Options
We usually take a deposit by bank transfer or bank cheque. We'll email you the necessary details.
Day tours are usually paid in cash or cheque as we do not have credit card or EFTPOS facilities.
When You Arrive in Whangarei
We usually meet at our base where we outfit you, get to know you and finalise the planning. An up-to-date weather forecast will help firm up our plans.
If you need a pick up we do this. Often larger groups rent a local van here in Whangarei and continue exploring Northland after their trip but there are other options for the solo paddlers and smaller groups. Please contact us to discuss your individual circumstances.
