On the 4 day trip there is greater opportunity to explore more of the area and to relax, fish or snorkel more. There are walks on the island and the mainland with fantastic views.
Visiting this seldom paddled area, we'll be amongst towering sea cliffs and rock pinnacles, numerous hidden coves, and idyllic sandy beaches. Depending on conditions, we'll also visit sections of the mainland coast and adjacent islands, including the magnificent rock formations and sea caves at the entrance to Whangaroa harbour. It would be easy to spend more than 4 days in this area an extended itinary can be arranged is recommended if you have the time.
